01 · Our Story

Built from a real career transition—and the support that was missing.

EPI-Tech—Empowering People in Tech—was founded on one belief: tech should be accessible to everyone. Our founder once struggled to find her own path into the industry. Coming from a background where she had never needed to look for a job, she had to start from scratch. Through a growth mindset and relentless practice, she secured five jobs in roles she cared about within one year.

During that period, she studied data analysis, business analysis, project management, virtual assistance, cybersecurity and more. She also saw how confusing and intimidating the journey can be without guidance—especially for women and the Black community.

EPI-Tech was created to be the mentor she wished she had. Since then, we have helped people strengthen their career confidence and supported students, career changers and professionals at different stages of their journey.

We guide learners step by step—from foundational skills to a job-ready portfolio, real-world experience and the confidence to move forward.
